Splendid fortified "masseria" (former farm typical of
Puglia) offering unique and amazing underground caves dating
back to the 11th century. The masseria, built in the 16th
century by the baron Manfredi, is quietly situated and affords
enchanting views over the surrounding landscape and over the
coastline underneath. Thanks to impressive restoration works the
Trappetello was converted into 20 bedrooms, all of which
tastefully furnished in a local manner. Distances: Assunta
Paterno with food shops approx. 3 km, Monopoli approx. 3 km,
Bari 45 km. The charming small towns of Alberobello and
Locorotondo are within 30 km. At guests' disposal: large outdoor
areas, big furnished garden, beautiful irregular-shaped
swimming-pool (maximum depth 2 m - open from 15/05 to 15/10).
This "masseria" offers splendid indoor and outdoor
areas where it is possible to arrange all kinds of special
events. The stay at Trappetello is free for children up to 3
years while children between 3 and 10 years can benefit from a
