Ancient stone farmhouse which has been recently restored
preserving all its original features and converted into a small
charming country resort. The property is situated on the hills
of the Maremma region and affords beautiful views over the
surrounding landscape. The resort offers 12 double bedrooms and
1 suite, all of which elegantly furnished with country-style
pieces and ancient cotto-tiled floors. Distances: Montieri with
all kinds of shops 2 km, the beautiful San Galgano Abbey 10 km,
Massa Marittima 25 km, Siena 35 km. The equipped beaches of
Follonica and Punta Ala are 35 km away. Buffet breakfast based
on local delicacies is served in a nice equipped room. At
guests' disposal: reading- room, bar, TV-room, meeting-room,
swimming-pool (14 x 7 m - maximum depth 1,5 m - open from 01/06
to 30/09 - from 10.00 to 19.00) set in panoramic location. A
restaurant open at night where it is possible to taste excellent
Tuscan recipes is on the premises (€ 30 / per person, to be
paid on the spot), by arrangement the restaurant is open for
lunch as well. Parking within the grounds. Linen is changed
every 4 days. Guided tours, excursions in the surrounding area
and cooking classes can be booked by arrangement (payment on the
spot). The stay at La Meridiana is free for children up to 2
years, children between 2 and 6 can benefit from a 50% discount,
while children from 6 to 11 can benefit from a 30% discount.
