Ancient farm, recently restored and turned into a charming
country-resort. The ancient charme as well the original
architectural features are well preserved, but at the same time
all rooms are provided with every modern comfort. The property
is set on the hills surrounding Siena, at the foot of Montagnola
Senese. The farmhouse has been divided into 4 double bedrooms
and 2 small apartments with living-room and cooking facilities
(a third bed can be added in both apartments). All rooms are
tastefully and elegantly furnished without loosing their country
character. Distances: Sovicille with all kinds of shops 5 km, S.
Rocco a Pilli 4 km, Siena 8 km, Monteriggioni 16 km, Volterra 40
km, Petriolo with spas centre 20 km, the beautiful Abbey S.
Galgano 25 km. All rooms are provided with air-conditioning,
mini-bar, satellite TV and upon request with exercise bike. A
buffet breakfast made of local delicacies is served outside or
in a small charming room equipped with fireplace. At guests'
disposal: reception with safe, equipped garden, swimming-pool
(12 x 6 m - open from 15/05 to 15/10) and large covered parking.
Pets are allowed. Upon request it is possible to arrange wine
tasting, visits of the splendid Romanesque churches as well as
of the medieval castles located in the surrounding areas,
walking tours, bikes and horse-back riding trips. Daily tours of
the Chianti region and of a beautiful area close to Siena called
"Crete senesi" can be booked. Car rental is possible
on request. Some of the restaurants close to the property can
offer special treatments to the guests staying at Casa di
Campagna.
