ANTICA STAZIONE FERROVIARIA - If you love the quiet caress of a sunny afternoon, if you want to delight in the twittering peace of the woods, if you want to be swallowed up by a piece of Sicily maybe not so well known, deviating from the most scoured tourist routes, Ficuzza Ancient Railway Station , is the right dock to moor to. The building has been recently transformed into a pleasant hotel and restaurant . For a week-end, a night, or just for a few hours, a stop at our tracks will give you a great deal of rare visions, scents and flavors . So, what was once a Station of the narrow-gauge line Palermo - San Carlo has been restructured, saved from decennial inactivity and deterioration, and transformed into a haven of peace and relief. Inside the building there is a big and lively restaurant hall, where we can offer you specialties belonging to the most authentic Sicilian gastronomy, paying a lot of attention to ingredients and to the way we cook them. Moreover, we have a comfortable pub where you can relax on soft divans, in front of a large stone fireplace, tasting the best Sicilian wines and listening to some good music. The big outside courtyard can be the scenario, during summer, for banquets and parties. Inside the Station, meetings and little congresses can take place, also in winter.
