Grand Hotel Tremezzo has got 98 rooms and 2 suites situated in the ancient Palace, and some Family Rooms, which are in the eighteen-century Villa next to the central building.
Every room offers an extraordinary spectacle to its guests, framing a spectacular view on Bellagio and the whole “Riviera delle Azalee” or opening a peace break on the flowers and the green of the secular Hotel park.
All rooms are decorated with pastel yellow, light blue and green, are embellished through rich fabrics and are furnished with vintage furniture and ancient paintings and prints.

Since July Grand Hotel Tremezzo has added, with pride, to its two swimming pools a distinguishing element, rare of its kind, destined to leave an unforgettable memory in all its guests: a floating swimming pool in the lake waters.

“Water On The Water”, a crystal-clear water break in the blue of the Lake Como, the indescribable sensation of a swim just opposite Bellagio.

“La Piscina dei Fiori” deep in the green of its magnificent park, surrounded by colours and centuries old trees, is dedicated to those people who like relaxing surrounded by the nature.

“La Piscina del ‘900”, the original swimming pool of the Hotel, built after the Palace, ideal for children because of its dimensions, is situated on one of the panoramic terraces, with a smashing view on the Lake.

Grand Hotel Tremezzo offers to its guests many services connected to sport and wellness: at their disposal, besides three outside swimming pools, a tennis court of synthetic grass, a gym, a water skiing teacher to be booked at the reception and a health way in the middle of the park, leading to the hill top, from where you can enjoy the most beautiful view on the Lake Como.
And moreover in the nearness of the Hotel there are a golf club and a riding ground.

In one of the attached bodies of the Hotel, deep in the green of its park, there is the Fitness Club, where the most sport-loving guests can spend many pleasant moments.
The gym, provided with modern electronic equipment, has got big arched windows overlooking the garden and gives you the possibility to feel deep in the nature even when you are doing some exercise.
The dressing rooms are equipped with sauna, separated for men and women, simply to relax yourself.
In Villa Emilia, connected to the Hotel, there is the “Beauty Sun Club” as well, which offers you massages and beauty treatments both for body and face.

Tremezzo
Tremezzo is situated on the Western Shore of Lake Como, in front of Bellagio, with a splendid view on the so-called “Riviera delle Azalee” and on the Grigne Mountains.
With a Roman origin, it was quoted in ‘880 as Curte Tremecia, while the actual name appeared only round the 1000 year. It was attacked and destroyed by the Comaschi, with the purpose to destroy its piratical activity, during the war against Milan (XII century).
It shared then the lot of Como. From 1928 to 1947 Tremezzo, Lenno and Mezzegra were joined in one municipality called Tremezzina.
The mild climate coming from the lake and from the mountains, which protect it from the cold air masses, has made Tremezzo a famous resort since a long time ago; in fact Giuseppe Verdi, English Queen Victoria, Kaiser Guglielmo II and the Chancellor Conrad Adenauer stayed there for some time.
For this reason there are many magnificent villas and parks: besides the very famous Villa Carlotta, Villa La Quiete, from the classical structure with late Baroque decorations, which is famous for its elegant wrought iron railing, an Italian garden and the landing stage, and Villa La Carlia, which is situated on the top of a slope connected to the street through a long and elegant stairway.
The Municipality is composed of many small hamlets: Bolvedro, Rogaro, where it is possible to visit the ancient tower, rest of some High Middle Ages fortifications; Portezza with the very well-balanced bell tower from 1100 belonging to San Vincenzo church.
The hamlet Rogaro is particularly well known in the zone for the asparagus festival, which takes place in May and for the Black Madonna wood statue, which is kept in Santa Maria church and, according to the tradition, comes from the Einsiedeln basilica.
Since the end of the XIX century it has become the parish church, dedicated to San Lorenzo, with an eclectic style, which was inspired from the Famedio of the Monumental Cemetery in Milan, by Alfonso Parrocchetti: a real masterpiece of the rationalistic architecture facing the Lake.
Leaving from Tremezzo the excursion to Monte Crocione is a typical one: you can go to its top and enjoy a spectacular 360° view on the Lake Como and on the Lugano Lake.
